Two Thousand Years
Verse 1 Two Thousand Years, we pled our case With weapons stained, in dripping blood, Not communicating, face to face All our reasons, as clear as mud, Refrain: So many wars, so many years, Same old reasons, same old fears, To the farthest corners, the battle nears We’re all still fighting, Two Thousand Years. Verse 2 They are the devil, you must agree, If you do not, get away from me, You are complicit, in their plan, You must all die, every last man, Verse 3 After all this time, the fight’s going strong, How could resolution not have come Voices are the same, from each side For the same reasons, each have died, You’re fighting yourselves, in different skin How can you not see, you all are kin, Victory can’t bring back, who are gone. All this death is just plain wrong! {maybe add} Verse 4 Step outside with me, to a different plane And look at, the facts again, With no emotion, you will see, We’re all the same, you and me.

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
